We see in the Bible that there are many instances of “the man.” Pharaoh was “the man.” The Amalekites were “the man.” Jezebel and Ahab formed a team to become “the man.” In the New Testament, we find Jesus dealing with “the man” and calling him Satan. I believe that it is very important to know the overall purpose of a thing. In other words, why do we do what we do?
